No leaks on start up.
Quickly gave us the confidence to leave MOSS to get on with the job knowing it would be sorted.
No job was a problem whatever time of day it was required.
A a real pleasure having the MOSS team on site.

MOSS was contracted by an onshore gas processing facility to carry out controlled bolt tightening, flange management and on site machining during their annual shutdown. The objective of the shutdown was to carry out essential mechanical maintenance activities, complete the necessary safety integrity activities and return the plant to full operational capability with a clean bill of health.

Controlled bolt tightening, supported by our flange management system was carried out on numerous flanges to allow process vessels to be cleaned and inspected and the removal and replacement of control and pressure relief valves.

Due to excessive corrosion, certain areas of pipework had to be removed and new integrity safe pipework had to be installed.

To save time, cost and the potential for incidents, mechanical Quickflanges that eliminate the need for any hot work such as welding, were installed to connect new to old pipework.

  • 3500 man-hours without incident or accident
  • Over 700 Flanges tightened 100% leak free, right first time
  • 22 off 4 Mechanical Quickflanges and connecting pipework tested and installed
  • Machining of a pair of 2.4 x 0.8m heat exchanger sealing faces
